Gratitude Brings Happiness

The more you are grateful, the more present you become.

When you are grateful, you open your heart to all that is good.  When your heart is open, you can appreciate the moment right in front of you.

When was the last time you stopped to appreciate what the day has to offer you?

Look for what makes you grateful.

Some people are so busy looking at the imperfections of other people that they forget to look for the good in themselves and others.  Remember, what you give to others you will receive seven-fold.

What would your life look like if you received love and gratitude?

Be that for someone else!

The more you are thankful for life, the more reasons life will give you to be thankful.

Gratitude is like a cherry pie.  The more cherries you put into the pie, the more cherries you will be able to eat.  If you don’t put in the cherries, you just have an empty pie.

The more grateful you are, the more positivity and love you will attract into your life.

A moment of gratitude can make a difference in your attitude.

To have an attitude of gratitude means that you regularly appreciate all parts of your life, no matter how big or small.

There is so much around you to be grateful for, you only need to be aware.  Seeing the light on in your child’s room after bedtime and knowing that she’s sneaking to read  book; feeling the sunshine on your face; holding a hand; the smell of coffee in the morning; or spending time in your favorite place.

Take a moment to appreciate the little things.

You can interrupt your anxiety with a little bit of gratitude.

Gratitude rewires the focus of your brain.  When you change your focus, your thought patterns change.  When you change your thoughts, your mind will stop going to the place in your brain that builds anxiety.

Change your thoughts.  Change your focus.  Change your anxiety level.

Spend a few minutes today changing your focus so that your anxiety level will drop.

Let gratitude for the past inspire you to trust the future.

Bad things happen to everybody.  If you focus on the bad things, you will stay in that negative energy.

If you learn to be grateful for the things that have happened to you (both good and bad), you will be able to let go of the negativity and move on to a happier present.

Once you are happier, your future forecast will be amazing!

Be thankful for all the troubles you don’t have.

Troubles?  Do I ever have troubles!  Oh my, let me tell you that if I turned blue I could be Eeyore because nothing is going right for me and I just can’t catch a break!

We all feel like this at some point in our lives.  This isn’t anything new.  But did you notice the heaviness these words made you feel?

Did you know that you can attract more positivity to you by thinking positive thoughts?

I challenge you to look at your life and be grateful for the troubles that are not part of your life.  (I am not Eeyore.  I am not alone.)

Remember, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the fence!
