My Dream Vacation

My Dream Vacation

WRITING PROMPT - Write about your dream vacation:

  1. Where will you go?

  2. Who would be with you?

  3. What would you do?

  4. Why is this your dream?

BONUS CHALLENGE - what is the first thing you need to do to make this dream vacation a reality?

I am one of those weird people who love to spend time with their spouse. We enjoy each other’s company and could easily spend time alone together for extended periods of time. I understand that this post is supposed to be about my dream vacation. However, spending time with the man my husband turns into on vacation is the best place for me. He’s so relaxed and we have so much fun together.

If I could vacation anywhere, for any length of time, with anyone I wanted, I would want to take Bob on a trip around the world. He has so many destinations he “visits” through videos and television. I often hear him saying that he would love to try that food or see that particular place himself. He spends so much time taking care of me and my health issues and I would love to be able to give back to him by manifesting his dreams.

The first place I want to take him to Bali. Vacation Bob thrives on beach vibes - and I love who he becomes that type of environment. We would explore the beaches and the culture. The beach helps him to relax and the food would make his dreams come true.

I’d also like to take him to the Asian area with all the weird foods (as long as I could find stuff for me to eat too.) My husband loves to try new things. However, with my allergies, that’s so hard for him to do. I would love to be able to give him the real foodie experience he talks about. Asia is known for it’s cheap prices, too. We could survive on a lot less money there, so maybe we’d be able to stay a little longer.

I think this is my dream because I love to spend time with vacation Bob. He is so relaxed, smiles a lot, and is more happy than any other time. He comes to me as I fell in love with, and I absolutely love seeing him like this! My dream of taking him to Asia is to experience the cheap countries with weird foods that Bob has always wanted to do. It’s my dream to make him happy.

There really isn’t a first step for us to take because Bob would never really go to Asia or to Bali. It’s too far away from home and would take him too far out of his comfort zone. But we could get the “Asian” or the “Bali” experience by compromising a little bit. We could:

  • Find somewhere a little closer to home that has the culture and environment we want to experience. (A beach or Asian community inside or very near the USA could be a good compromise.) I can do the research.

  • Make sure our passports are updated and we have any visas we may need in case we travel outside of the USA.

  • Save our money, research cheaper times of the year, and make a budget.

  • Make the plans and just go!

One day soon you may find us on a beach eating weird foods and enjoying the vacation of our dreams!
