Believe In Yourself
Think about the dreams you have for your life. Are they dreams or are they goals? What can you do to turn them into goals?
We often talk about our dreams and our goals, but do we know the difference? A dream is when we wish for something and a goal is when we make a plan and take action to make it happen.
Once again think of the dreams you have for your life. Remember to dream big. This is where our brains tell us what we want from our life. There is no limit to what we can dream.
1. Make a list of all your dreams.
2. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths to calm your mind. (Yes, I know how that sounds, but it really does help you think.)
3. Now look your list of dreams. Circle any of these dreams that you believe are possible. Believing they are possible is the first step to making them a goal.
Now you have a list of dreams and a list of goals. What is your next step to making you dreams a reality?
1. Pick one goal and ask yourself what it will take to make that goal happen.
2. Figure out what steps you are going to need to take to achieve your goal. Don’t be discouraged if you feel a little overwhelmed. That’s normal and will go away once you take charge of your own action.
3. Break your steps down into bite-sized tasks. Breaking it down into small steps helps you work towards your goals one step at a time.
4. Set a deadline for you to complete each task and put it in the calendar system you actually use.
5. Set a deadline for you to complete the entire goal and put that into your calendar.
Making a deadline gives you accountability. If you need further help getting motivated, find an accountability partner who will check in with you to help keep you on track.
The next step is a big one!

Take Action!
Now is the time to get started. Just do it – no excuses. Remember, this is something YOU want. This is YOUR dream becoming a reality. Nobody is going to do it for you.
Don’t make excuses – MAKE IT HAPPEN! Goals that seem way too big for you to handle just need to be broken down into smaller tasks that we can accomplish. Keep moving forward one step at a time. You’ve got this!
