What Does Success Mean To You?

For some people, the word success brings about a feeling of accomplishment and pride in their achievements. They celebrate all that they have done right and it motivates them to work even harder at moving forward.

For other people, the word success brings pressure and stress. This word makes them think of all the failures in their life or the pressure of other people’s expectations. To them, the thought of failure and the pressure put on them causes nothing but anxiety.

It’s important to remember that failure does not mean you are worthless. Failure means that you are learning how to succeed. Be patient with yourself. Remember that you are not perfect and you don’t have to try to be perfect. Use these failures as stepping stones to get where you want to be.

So many times we get lost in all the “to do” list and the things that “should be done”.

If we change our focus to the things we’ve already accomplished, then what is in our future doesn’t seem so unattainable.

Instead of stressing about how hard these projects are, look at the steps you took to get there. Celebrate what you have already done. Then let go of whatever is holding you back and work on the project one step at a time. Celebrate a little every time you complete a step. Celebrating the small victories helps you to push through until the entire project is completed.

Hang in there, you’ve got this!

If you need help figuring out how to break down the steps, contact me at support@michellemical.com. I am more than happy to help you figure it out and cheer you on in your journey!

Your mind really is a powerful tool. It believes anything you tell it to believe. So if you tell your mind that you are having a bad day, your subconscious will make sure that you do. Alternately, if you tell yourself that today is a good day or that you will get all the laundry done today, your mind will send you messages to make sure that you do have a good day or get the laundry done.

Be careful what you tell yourself. You are always listening!
